Solutions / KYC and KYB onboarding
Fintech, lending and regulated services
Customer onboarding that complies and still feels fast
Identity, ownership, sanctions and risk checks done in minutes, with a complete case file for the compliance officer on the cases that need a human.
Representative blueprint. The targets below are design targets we scope and measure against in a Loop Audit. They are not results from a named client.
Compliance and conversion pull in opposite directions
- Document checks, registry lookups and screening each live in a different tool.
- Business customers need beneficial ownership traced through layers of holding companies.
- Analysts rebuild the same case file by hand for every review.
- Customers abandon onboarding when it takes days.
- Screening is only as good as the last time anyone ran it.
How the loop runs.
7 stages, from the moment work arrives to the moment it is proven done. Each one is observable, testable and can be paused.
Collect
Guides the customer through documents and details, validating as they go instead of rejecting later.
Verify identity
Document authenticity and liveness through specialist providers, with tamper and mismatch checks.
Resolve the business
Retrieves registry records and traces ownership and control through entity layers to the applicable threshold.
Screen
Runs sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening for every individual and entity, and resolves obvious false positives with documented reasoning.
Score risk
Applies your risk model, a combination of rules and explainable factors, and records why.
Decide or refer
Approves low-risk cases under policy and sends the rest to an analyst with a ready case file.
Monitor
Re-screens on list updates and triggers reviews on events such as ownership changes.
The hard parts, and how we handle them.
Ownership graphs
We build the control structure as a graph, compute effective ownership across layers and cycles, and highlight where information is missing, which is often the finding.
False positives are the cost centre
Name matching produces noise. We use secondary identifiers and context to clear obvious mismatches, record the reasoning, and never auto-clear a true hit.
Explainability is a regulatory requirement
Every risk score lists its contributing factors, and every decision cites the policy version it was made under.
Four eyes where it counts
High-risk approvals require two humans. The workflow enforces it, rather than relying on habit.
What a person always decides
- Adverse decisions are made by people, never by the model alone
- Policy versions pinned to every decision for later review
- Sensitive documents encrypted and access-logged per view
- Retention and deletion schedules enforced automatically
- Provider outages degrade to manual review, never to auto-approve

A realistic timeline.
Shadow mode first. Nothing acts on its own until its accuracy has been measured against your team’s own work.
- Weeks 1 to 3Review your policy, risk appetite and current case handling. Select providers.
- Weeks 4 to 8Collection, verification and ownership tracing in parallel with your analysts.
- Weeks 9 to 11Screening, scoring and case files live with human approval throughout.
- Week 12 onwardLow-risk auto-approval under policy and ongoing monitoring.
What we design for.
Modeled targets, confirmed or corrected with your own data in a Loop Audit.
- Built around FINTRAC and AML recordkeeping expectations
- Retention and audit exports for regulators
